Michael has been with Lord Abbett for 4 years and is responsible for the managing the firms major transformational initiatives such as strategic investments in building resiliency and scale into our front-to-back architecture.  In this role, Mr. Sottile manages the project teams of functional and technical engineers driving.  By design, The Transformation Office drives critical investments from inception to BAU, handing over it to the Production Management functions once production quality targets are hit.  Other prominent initiatives aimed at harvesting commercial opportunities like re-positioning of our Data Center assets or re-imagining the firms Digital Experience, powered by the Microsoft Office 365 Platform. Each of these initiatives aligns with key principles in the firms five year strategic plan. 

Prior to joining Lord Abbett, Michael spent ~16 years at Goldman Sachs, ultimately in the role of Managing Director, Global Head of Architecture and Strategy for the Private Wealth Management Business.  In that role Mr. Sottile was similarly focused on driving the strategic investment budget in addition to managing the software development for the Front and Middle Office and key data platforms driving the Goldman Private Wealth management business.
