Tom Durkin is a managing director for GTS Product Management at Bank of America. Durkin leads his team in developing client centric strategies and technology initiatives for all digital channels offered through the CashPro Suite of solutions. CashPro provides digital transaction banking covering the full scope of payments, liquidity and self-managed capabilities, including Mobile, Online, API and Connectivity channels. The CashPro covers 35,000 clients and over 500,000 users for Global Banking lines of business.
Durkin also chairs Bank of America’s client advisory boards for the CashPro channels. This forum represents clients across all lines of business from FI and Global Large Corporates to Business Banking. He is an active member in the SWIFT community by speaking regularly at events including the last four years at SIBOS on different topics such as Open Banking, Corporate Adoption on SWIFT, Global Standards and ISO XML. He is the Bank of America representative on the SWIFT Corporate Advisory Group.
Durkin is a regular conference speaker. He has also published several articles on connectivity, integration, corporate adoption of SWIFT and the industry support of corporate adoption of ISO 20022.
Durkin joined Bank of America from ABN AMRO in 2007. He had worked for ABN AMRO North America for 16 years in a variety of roles within their Transaction Banking Group. These roles included Product Management, Client Advisory, North American Solution Management, and Global Implementation. Upon joining the organization, Durkin was the Global Corporate Execution Lead focusing on integrating the Treasury Products and managing client migrations to the new platforms. He has been a Certified Treasury Professional since 2000.
