Chris Engelhardt, a 22 year payments industry veteran, has spent the last six years as the Senior Manager of Digital Payment Partnerships for Discover Financial Services. Chris leads the team responsible for all major digital payment gateways and software providers, shopping carts, and mobile app providers in North America.  His is accountable for the mobile, e-commerce, and open source development strategy and execution with technology partners to ensure Discover technical enablement, digital product support and payment acceptance. Most recently, Chris served as Vice President of Partner Management for Integrated Payments at Vantiv. 

Prior to Vantiv, Chris held a similar role at TransFirst as the Director of Channel Management.  Mr. Engelhardt has also lead various teams in Integrated and Emerging Payments, as well as Strategic Partnership channels with other merchant acquirers such as Bank of America, Moneris Solutions, and Citibank.
