Bridgit Chayt serves as senior vice president, director commercial payments & treasury management. In her role, Bridgit oversees the strategic direction of commercial payment and depository services, including commercial card issuing and acquiring activities.
Before joining Fifth Third Bank in 2016, Chayt spent more than two decades in financial services, having worked in various roles with Midwest Guaranty Bank and Comerica Bank including executive vice president, director of treasury management & business deposit services for Comerica Bank. Chayt has a proven track record for delivering market leading revenue growth, product innovation, customer loyalty and risk performance for treasury management, merchant services, commercial card and government card programs.
Chayt’s experience includes global corporate marketing, commercial banking & wealth management. She also started both a bank and holding company in Troy, MI – focused on providing banking services to middle market companies and their owners. She has a vast background in education, human resources and operations management.
Bridgit attended St Joseph College, Rensselaer, IN – BS, English/Political Science, Graduate School of Banking, Boulder, CO, and University of Chicago-Booth School of Business. She is a frequent participant in the payments dialogue through participation in a variety of industry roundtables and associations.
Bridgit serves as a board member of the Dallas Business Council for the Arts, Women of Tocqueville Society, United Way as well as Friend of Bloomfield Twp. Library, Detroit Michigan. Previous board member of Girl Scouts Southeast Michigan, United Way Women’s Initiative Southeast Michigan and Boys & Girls Club of Troy Michigan.
