Vijay Ramnathan is president of MineralTree, a market-leading Accounts Payable and Payment Automation solution provider serving middle market companies directly and through financial institution partners. 

Vijay has more than 20 years of experience driving innovation for the accounting, banking and payments industries. During his career he has developed a deep understanding of how to help businesses increase efficiency, reduce risk and optimize the manual AP and B2B payments process.

Prior to MineralTree, Vijay served as senior vice president of products and strategy at Comdata Corporate Payments, a Fleetcor Inc Company, where he led the corporate payments business. In addition, Vijay brings a wealth of experience working at top US financial institutions. Prior to Comdata, he was a Managing Director of Corporate Strategy at Fifth Third Bank, where he built growth strategies for various businesses including business banking. In addition to his experience at Fifth Third Bank, Vijay spent over 10 years in various senior product management, product strategy and innovation related roles at US Bank focused on the bank’s commercial and virtual card products.

Vijay has a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Osmania University, is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI), and earned an MBA at the University of Iowa.
