Talie Baker is a Strategic Advisor with Aite-Novarica’s Retail Banking & Payments practice, focusing on the customer experience and digital payments technologies including person-to-person payments, business-to-consumer disbursements, cross-border payments, and the merchant payments ecosystem.
Talie brings to Aite-Novarica more than 15 years of experience focused primarily on the financial services industry. Prior to joining Aite-Novarica, Talie was a Management Consultant with Capco and BearingPoint, where she successfully led multiyear consulting engagements, helping financial institutions transform their finance and compliance challenges to provide actionable and timely business insights across the organization and to mitigate risk. Talie was responsible for working with senior-level executives to define the vision, strategy, and implementation approach for mission-critical initiatives. She has facilitated communications at all levels of the organization, successfully led cross-functional teams of more than 100 people, and completed several multimillion-dollar initiatives. Her extensive background with a diverse set of financial institutions provides her with a strong foundation to deliver thought leadership across leading trends within financial services.
Talie has been a guest speaker at various industry conferences and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Boston Globe, and Forbes, among other publications, on the digital payments ecosystem.
Talie holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Human Resources from the University of Colorado at Denver and a graduate certificate in Computer Information Systems from the University of Denver.
